Kendall Jenner worked a £414 When I Was A Boy Short Jumpsuit by Sass & Bide paired with Balenciaga flat gladiator sandals while out shopping in Beverly Hills. The piece is a navy blue romper with a waist-high slit attached to it. Simple but eye-catching. I immediately want one in my closet!

That model life! I love this jumpsuit. But at that price, I won’t be getting it any time soon.

Recreate the look with this £32 Sheer Trousers With a Skirt.

This £46 Backless Navy Maxi Dress from Shop Art Becomes You reminds me f Kendall’s look.

Are you feeling it?

**Disclaimer: I’m sorry I just had to airbrush that bread roll looking love handle that suddenly appeared out of nowhere on my back…0_o (Runs to the gym). If you can’t spot it then my Photoshop skills are getting freaking good!

Ola! This post is so late. I won’t even write what I had planned to. But something silly happened today at work though…Okay, I was having the usual slow day at work when the phone rings. I pick it and the person at the other end just lets out 3 very loud farts…I usually am not here for prank calls. Cold callers, people calling to pest about insurance and all that just get a massive sigh from me every time. But for some reason this person did not get hung up on. I for some weird reason sat there and listened to all three of the longest farts I’ve ever heard. Hahahaha. They must be used to to not having a willing ear on the receiver line ’cause after they were done there was an awkward silence and then he (most prank callers are male, right?) hung up. I had the biggest laugh ever. LMAO. Like they must have been having a pretty shit (pun intended) day to get up to no good like that. I had a million and one questions for them: Do you OWN a fart machine? Or was that real? How long did it take you to accumulate so much gas then? Have you been practising? How come you’ve got all this time? Lawd.

Have you ever had any prank calls? What were they like?

Anyhoo, I wore this a few days ago when there was no talk of snow, blizzards and the BIG FREEZE. I wanted to maintain the same colour palette and what’s better than brown skin and a mocha ensemble so I dug out all the brown items my closet can boast of ;)

fur 1

My texture is the best fur, Chincilla ;)

This is the second faux-fur jacket I’ve ever owned. My first ever faux-fur jacket got chucked in the bin by the new tenant who took over my room when I moved houses two years ago. I had way too much stuff to move and I had left a few bags with the intention of coming right back for them the following day. I called to find out if it was okay if I come pick up my bag (to be fair I got super tied up ended up leaving it there for two weeks or so) and they were all like; “What bag?”

“Um,the bag WITH the fur coat WITH the tags still on plus some other random stuff…?”

That was yours? We’ve chucked it in the bin sorry.”  OOP.

No. NO. NO. NOOOO. NAWL! ‘Huh?’

“Thought it belonged to the landlord or something.”

Yeah, because he stunts out in fancy fur coats. “Oh dear. Have the bin people been in yet? Maybe you could retrieve it…” Grasping at hopeful straws here. Coat bloody set me back a good £115.

“They have I’m afraid. I’m really sorry. To be fair I thought it was just a couple of old cushions or something.”

Say no more! Anything you say or do shall be used against you in a court of law… Clearly, not everyone has my fashion sense. But cushions :/ “Right.”

…Well you get it. That’s how I lost my first fur coat without even doing a fabulous strut in it. It’s grave has a place in my heart…

And then I laid eyes on this beauty. OH MY WORD. It was love at first stroke. Even though I spotted it online. It was out of stock so I ran to the shop immediately where there was this little cutie one left on the sale rack and I grabbed it and gave it a good hug.

It’s soft. It’s colour-blocked It’s fluffy. It fits. It’s cheap (knocked down from £95 to £40). It’s pastel. It’s got a badass leather belt. Everything I could have asked for.

This is my favourite #WinterSale bargain. What’s yours?

Top 35 Duo Fashion Blogs

top 35 duo twin sister fashion blogs

They say two heads are better than one. That also applies to fashion blogging. One outfit is better. But twice the look is a visual experience! I want to dedicate this post to and appreciate bloggers who it best in a team. Not everyone can thrive when working in a team so every time I see bloggers who are doing it best as a duo, I have to do a hats off to them. Blogging alone is hard. But blogging with a partner I would imagine is twice as hard especillay when it comes to compromising and merging both visions as one. These bloggers have crossed that threshold and are triving marvellously as a team. They are living proof of the perks of blogging as a duo. let’s delve into some of the top blogging duos out there. Not in any specific order.

1. London’s Closet

Shope (nose ring and coloured hair) and Shore are twin Nigerian sisters living in London. They are both only 19 but already they have several worthy accolades that have been awarded their blog. Only last year they won the Company Style Blogger Awards yet again for Best Blogging Duo. London’s Closet was started in December 2010 by Shope (at the tender age of 15) and Shore joined a year later. Love, love, love how different their styles are yet they complement each other. They have a wonderful future ahead for sure.

2. Britt and Whit

Britt (brunette) and Whit (blonde) are simply put, two best friends that live in San Francisco, work in media, and love to play dress up! They make me just want to grab my best friend and have her blog with me! I love both of their styles. They are very elegant, classy and fresh.

3. We Are Twinset

Oh, hello there Sarah and Philippa. Two fashion-loving and blogging best friends who just happen to look soooo much alike  o_o I love everything abut their blog! Chic is the word. I love it when they do high street VS high fashion looks that are similar against one another. What I love about their blog is that they style the same items in different ways. I can’t tell them apart for the life of me! Luckily, they help with that in each post. In the picture below, Philippa is the one with the clutch. It also helps that Sarah is always on the left ;)

4. Nyane & Mpho Lebajoa

Can everyone say YAASSSS and Amen! I follow Nyane on Instagram and I must tell you, my feed is ablaze with her fashion.  NYané & Mpho. Pronounced (Nee-ya-nee & Mm-pour)  are Southern African (Lesotho) 20 year old twin bloggers and fashion creatives living in the UK. As aspiring designers their styles have a very strong point of view. Nyane is currently wearing grey hair and Mpho rocks a pixie cut or darker hair so you can tell them apart by that.

5. Beckerman Blog

Blend in for what?! If you’re all about colour and an explosion of fashion, then the Beckerman sisters are your girls. Cailli and Sam Beckerman’s blog chronicles their street style and their adventures in their hometown Toronto. Outfit after outfit that I browsed through had me mesmerized. Their fashion is an art. You just cannot outdo these ladies. Their aesthetic is in yo’face and I LAV IT!

ion

6. Closet Freaks

I struggled to find male blogging duos (maybe you can help me list any you know below!). So I was more than thrilled when I stumbled upon these two. Anthony Urbano and Dustin Moore’s blog was born after their relationship started. Anthony (wearing glasses) has a very sporty chic and effortless aesthetic. Love his style and the fact that he wears a pop of colour every now and then.

7. Sisters In The City

Allison (brunette) & Corbynn (blonde), are the sister blogging duo behind Sisters in the City.  They are not blood sisters per se, but became sisters after marrying two handsome brothers and then immediately became best friends. That has to be the sweetest thing ever. Sister-in-law best friends who blog together? I fell in love instantly. I love how their different styles mesh together.

8. Layllah

The only thing I love more than seeing a powerful black woman is seeing TWO powerful black women. Boom! I can’t even believe I had never heard about them until I saw them on Fashion Bomb Daily’s Bomb Blogger feature. I fell in love with their dynamic instantly. They resonate chic, confident and modern style and I’m here for every bit of it. These sisters are a force to reckon with. Oh, they are called Makeda ‘Kay’ Lynn (white coat below) and Cari Rene (sheer blouse in pic below)

9. Stylingo

Claire (grey dyed hair) and Lauren (dark hair or red below) are two Brit friends with a penchant for fashion and all things beauty. What I love about their blog is not only do they offer fashion tips but there’s a lot of beauty reviews and swatches that I can’t wait to try out. Plus they live Birmingham like myself. Yay!

10. How Two Live

Jess & Stef Dadon are two sisters from Melbourne, Australia who share their passion for fashion and travel on their blog. The brunette sisters – who aren’t twins but are actually aged 22 and 26 have a sense of style that is mind-blowingly cool. I cannot tell them apart for the life of me but I am in love with their style. I just want to join their gang like now! How does How Three Live sound? :/

11. Fifth & Sixth Closet

I fell in love with the personal fashion blog of these two Nigerian sisters, Bisola & Dammie Gee a while back. I love that their aesthetic is very bold. One of them is so feminine and the other is androgynous. A contrasting fusion that complement each other. I always click to see their full posts because I keep trying to guess what the other sister is wearing and I’m always wrong! They wow me each time. 5th & 6th stay winning.

12. Twin Fashion Blog

Move over Mary-Kate & Ashley. Nef & Nat are here to win! In the picture below where they are both sat on the staircase, Nat is wearing the visible ear cuff. That’s the best I can do. Good luck telling them apart in the other pictures ;) TWINFASHION is a fashion and travel diary that offers an insight into the lives of Greek sisters Nefeli and Natalia Georgala. High street meets runway chic is what these sisters are giving me. I would kill to raid their closets. The shoes and coats are lush as hell <3

13. Girls Off Fifth

Jessica (black booties below) & Janelle Lloyd (grey cardigan) are NYC based sisters. Their blog is one of the oldest blogs I’ve known since I started blogging. They have been slaying from day one and to be honest they are one of my favourite all time bloggers. I can’t deal with how polished and effortless they always look. Jessica especially gets me. I see myself wearing a lot of her looks. Yesssssss, girls. You are both FABULOUS.

14. Kastor & Pollux

Kastor and Pollux’s dynamic blogging duo is made up of Bianca Venerayan (left below with nose ring) and Dani Roche (right) and they are most likely the best dressed BFFs you’ll ever see. Kastor and Pollux is an e-commerce shop and a personal style blog. Launched in May 2011, it documents their amazing style and love for fashio and photography. Their site design is a wonder to behold. Top marks for presentation and wit. Love everything.

15. A Piece Of Toast

Managed by two sisters, Sally Ann (posing with fiancé) and Molly Bernadette (all black outfit) who were born 15 months apart, A Piece Of Toast chronicles the life and style f two gorgeous siblings. Sally loves her job as a teacher’s assistant and Molly manages A Piece of Toast full time. Molly quit her job a few years back (2013) to manage the blog full time and that’s something I applaud her for the bold move. She’s inspired me. It’s a tough decision to make and she clearly did the right thing. Their blog is fabulous!

16. DPiper Twins

Danielle and Chantelle Dwomoh-Piper are born to a Caribbean mum and an Ghanaian dad, they embrace their roots and display it in their fashion in bold and vibrant combination of colourful African designs. If you love their prints, their products are currently sold online. Love how they combine chic everyday pieces with cool African prints. Their Instagram feed is a delight too.

Two Shoes, One Pair is a fashion blog written and styled by Amy-Rose Watts (fringe) and Naomi Rowland (no fringe). Their blog is a visual treat. Good thing they live in the UK because I need to go thrift shopping with these two. THEY BAAAAD.

19. A Beautiful Mess

Elsie Larson (dark-haired with fringe) and Emma Chapman are the sisters behind A Beautiful Mess, a women’s lifestyle company focused on creating happiness every day through a homemade lifestyle. 21. Urban Bush Babes

Cipriana and Takenya ‘TK Wonder’ Quann are identical twins. Cipriana always has her hair in a bun and TK Wonder rocks dreadlocks. They are beyond gorgeous!! Their hair alone is life restored. Looking at them, I can’t think of a more apt way to describe them. Urban Bush Babes sounds perfect. The 3 words I would use to describe them are: URBAN. RAW. ORIGINAL. That is all. Check out their editorial spread. I was in awe for days.

22. Teetharejade

24 year old twin fashion bloggers Desi (blonde) and Nisi (brunette) from Germany  run this amazing platform. They blog abouut fashion, lifestyle, travel and have a Youtube vlog too. Keep slaying and keep the beautiful pictures coming. We diggin’ it! Oooh by the way, Ashley is the brunette with highlights and Lilly’s blonde ;)

24. Coco and Breezy

If these two didn’t coin the phrase too cool for school then I don’t know who did :/ THEY KILLT IT. I won’t even bother differentiating because I don’t know who’s who.  All I know is Androgyny Appeal Of Life is SERVED. Good news is, you can shop their cool eye gear on their website. Visit their Tumblr blog for a visual experience.

25. Pretty Posh, Oh My Gosh

Felicity (fringe and dark hair) and Lauren are two twenty-something British born women who met six years ago at Loughborough University and united by a shared love of fashion, beauty and bargain hunting. This list was missing a posh bunch and they are just the perfect pair! Love that they love a lot a lot of bold colours especially with accessories :)

26. Rachel et Nicole

Rachel (taller) and Nicole Effendy share their #OOTDs separately on Instagram, but the New York-based sisters serve double the style punch on their shared blog. In their own words:Rachel and Nicole are sisters by blood and on good days, by choice. Rachel believes in the power of pink while Nicole believes in the power of, well, anything but pink. Nicole is a Gemini while Rachel is Capricorn Unicorn. Nicole has no sense of direction whatsoever and Rachel can never understand why she’s so oblivious to her surroundings. Their only common ground is this site, and they welcome you to their crazy world.’ Hahahahaha. I love them already. If you’re a sucker for gifs like myself, you’ll love their Tumblr ;)

27. The Fashion Citizen

Two frugal fashionistas livin’ the dream in sunny Arizona. Stephanie and Melissa Valenzuela (short hair) bring their love for frugal fashion and thrifting to Youtube: They host a web series called The Fashion Citizen, where they share styling tips, tutorials, and shopping hauls. Their thrift game is ON. The pieces they find are out of this world. I need to be THAT kind of fly. Do I need to move to Arizona??? :/

28. 2Many Siblings

It’s blogs like this that make me miss my family back home. Velma Rossa and Papa Petit are siblings from East Africa, Kenya. I’m sure their parents be at home like; “Nobody is allowed to look this cool. Now go to your respective rooms!” :/  The ‘duo composition of style and art enthusiasts’ have stolen my heart. In Velma’s own words: 2manysiblings is a passion project run by me and my brother, Papa Petit. The project simply started out of the need to document our clothes and how we live in them. The blog has since taken a life of its own and now it’s about collaborative processes with African photographers.

29. Vern & Verniece

Vern and Verniece Enciso have a stunning blog! Love the simple and inviting design. Aside from that, they are both stunning fashionistas with elegant taste. They are not twins but I still get them mixed up! I only just found their blog today but I have to confess it was one of my favourite duo blogs by far. Love it ALL <3

Vern

30. Les Freres Joachim

Loïc Joachim and Swann Joachim are two brothers who have mastered the art of SWAGGER. Like one well-dressed hella fine man wasn’t enough. There had to be two of them :/ Understated macho modern chic is what they’re serving and everyone’s here for it.

Loïc Joachim (left) and Swann Joachim (right)

31. Mandeville Sisters

Grace (glasses)  and Amelia (two braids) Mandeville are two sisters who have a passion for film making, blabbing in front of the camera, fashion and travel. I am so glad I stumbled upon them via a good old Google search. Their blog is inspirational. To be doing so much at their young age and have so many aspirations is what I admire most about them.

32. Lobler & Delaney (Notes From A Stylist)

A fashion, style and food blog born in 2009 by two stylists. Ellen Lobler and Sara Delaney (pictured below) are two 40-somethings with a love for styling. She and Hem are otherwise known as Jo & Victoria. They are fashion loving young Brits who reside in Bristol. Their tea party printed dresses and blonde tresses are all I live for. love the vibe of their style. They are so adorable. They were shortlisted for the Company Magazine Style Blogger Awards 2014 and Finalist in the UK Blog Awards 2014. Go She & Hem!

35. Spicy Candy DC

Carlis Sanchez (dark hair) & Katya Ananieva (blonde) are the brains and beauty behind this captivating fitness, food, fashion and travel blog. I love this blog because it has so many layers to it. There’s fitness, styling, fashion and best of all the outfits and photography are simply stunning! That leather coat worn by Carlis in the last picture had me drooling. YAS!!!!

There’s a gazillion of duo bloggers out there. Google may know a lot of them. Unfortunately I don’t. Also the longer the list got, the longer the page took to lad so I decided to call it a day at 35. But I’m sure you do know a pair or two I haven’t listed. Share with us below!!

Also, which pair of siblings, twins or BFFs caught your eye?

Let us know :)

*Worth mentioning is this blog I came across. It’s written by six sisters and it’s called Six Sisters Stuff. Yes six of them! I don’t know that I’ll ever do a list of bloggers working in teams of 6 so I might as well mention them now. They are fabulous! Please check them out.

**Also, there are a couple of duo blogs by sisters I used to follow a few years back and when I checked on them last updated date was about 2013. Blogging is a weird thing because we only these people online and don’t really know what’s going on in their lives. So when they go MIA without notice it’s worrying. Estelle La Mode, Do Rae Me and a handful of others hope you are all okay :/ And if you are, get back to blogging when you can. You had a great thing going. If you’ve found something you enjoy doing and have left the blogging community, please let your readers know :)

 Hope you enjoyed this post.

Will you give blogging as a duo a go?

Stay tuned for more elaborate countdowns in the future ;)

Zac Posen’s Fall 2015 show was star studded. from his favourite muse Rihanna to fashion killers like Coco Rocha and Kesha, the show was stacked full. Let’s get into their wares and glimpse pictures of the collection:

Burgundy was the colour scheme for Zac’s new collection and it looks breathtaking. Rihanna looked stunning in a Zac Posen burgundy silk crepe dress. The dress has a low cut off-shoulder neckline with a fit and flare midi cut. That colour and cut on Riri is everything.

Naomi Campbell strutted on the runway high fashion style in one of the killer pieces of the collection.

I would love to raid Mary J Blige’s coat closet. She is stacking some statement pieces!

Kesha styled an all black look with faux fur coat and wide brimmed hat. I want those boots.

Michelle Harper worked her bowl cut with bright lips and a maxi dress.

Zac Posen’s natural eyebrow game is strong.

See a few more pieces from the collection:

Are you here for it?

Red carpet Review: Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood – FIAT Young Hollywood Celebration

VANITY FAIR CAMPAIGN HOLLYWOOD – FIAT YOUNG HOLLYWOOD CELEBRATION

Krista Smith and James Corden hosted the Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood – FIAT Young Hollywood Celebration last night and a lot of the looks were promising! Let’s dig in:

Sarah Hyland is a girl after my heart. I loved her look completely. The chequered tie waist black and white dress was simply elegant and tasteful.

Pretty Little Liar Shay Mitchell looked red hot in a low cut top and palazzo trousers. She is a looker.

Courtney Eaton was one of my favourites in a Louis Vuitton floral print dress and boots. I have been craving these shoes since they hit the runway :(

Aja Naomi king is so freaking gorgeous! I loved her bright coral dress and matching croc pumps.

The How To Get Away With Murder cast are killing it! Loved Karla Souza’s layered faux-feather ombre strapless dress.

How gorgeous is Jurnee Smollet-bell in that cobalt blue skater skirt and biker jacket?!

Kat Graham co-ordinated dark colours in a lace bralet and bedazzled blazer combo. Loving that vampire red lip ;)

Willa Holland kept it chic in a white low v neck jumpsuit.

Maria Menounos kept it sweet in an embellished shift dress and nude Louboutin pumps. Pretty!

Nicole Beharie mixed prints and I have to say I actually like it. Especially her shoes.

Victoria Justice was a miss for me in her metallic jacket and sheer embellished dress. Her dress was too reminiscent of figure ice skating. Even though the whole look seemed a little easier on the eye with the jacket off. Hmmmm…

I love Analeigh Tipton! She looked superbe in a sheer feather embellished dress.

Kiersey Clemons was fierce in black leather.

Kaitlyn Dever’s little black dress was not your ordinary LBD. That off shoulder sleeve is everything and she looks fab.

Kelly Brooke opted for a girly printed dress. Not the most flattering on her but she’s a pretty woman and I love her shoes.

Emily Ratajkowski looked radiant in a violet jumpsuit. Hot!

How To Get Away With Murder‘s Jack Falahee smized with appeal in a grey suit.

Justine Ezarik looked great in a LBD. Blazer dresses are the in thing right now.

Dayo Okeniyi looked dapper in his grey suit.

Grace Gealey showed off in a nude coloured sheer dress.

Style Diary – Priscilla A of Prissy Savvy

It’s Friday and celebrating my kick-off into the weekend with a Style Diary of the very elegant and beautiful Priscilla of Prissy Savvy. The Style Diary segment throws more light on the fashion & style dos and don’ts of fashion bloggers on the scene. It’s also a way to introduce your blog to new audiences. If you’d love to be featured on Style Diary, please email artbecomesyou@yahoo.com for details!

But first, let’s get to know Prissy:

I am Ghanian-American currently residing in Maryland. Contrary to beliefs, I am very shy and it takes me a while to get close to people. I love to shop, travel, and spend time with my family.

ABY: How would you describe your style and what influences your style?

My style is chic, classy, and sophisticated. My style is influenced by my mood at the moment, various images and magazine, and street fashion.

ABY: Favourite high end & high street brands?

I don’t think I have a particular one, but if I must choose, I would say Manolo Blahnik. I think the brand is classic and every girl should have that “hey lover” feeling. I also love Gianvito Rossi. This brand is THEE most comfortable designer shoes I own. I just bought a pair of Manolo Blahnik and Gianvito Rossi pumps and can’t wait to rock them. High street brand will definitely be Asos and Zara.

ABY: If you had the power to, which one fashion store / boutique would you wipe out from the face of this earth and why???

I don’t want to knock anyone’s hustle, but those IG boutiques that specializes in bodycons needs to stop!

ABY: What do you splurge on?

I tend to splurge mostly on shoes and bags. These pieces can make any ordinary outfit dope!

ABY: Apart from fashion, what interests you? I’m a sucker for books and novels ;) I’m literally running out of places to keep them!

I love helping the less fortunate. I had the opportunity to visit a shelter over the holiday and it was one of the most rewarding experiences ever.

ABY: You look flawless. Any beauty secrets or tips you’d like to share. Favourite make-up brands. etc.

Aww thank you, totally blushing. I actually don’t wear much make up. The closest thing I wear is lipstick lol. My two favorites are ruby woo and rebel by mac.

ABY: What fragrance are you loving at the moment?

I’ve been wearing Coco Chanel for years. I also love Chloe.

ABY: Yesss! Chloe is my all time fave too. Your favourite music tracks right now…?

Ummm… Music is not what it used to be. I want 90s music back. I will say this: I love practically all songs by Hillsong and Israel Houghton.

ABY: Your favourite trends currently?

Although, I don’t think it’s a trend because I’ve been wearing it for years; I love neutral/camel tones.

ABY: The trends I just don’t get are…

I just want bodycon dresses to disappear from the face of the earth. I’m so sick of seeing them.

ABY: If you had to deactivate all but one social media account, which would you keep and why?

Noooo that’s not a fair question. I need to stay connected! I refuse to answer.

ABY: LOL! Which profession has the coolest/ most fashionable uniform?

Maybe models? They get to wear the latest designer items first.

-Which TV show has/had the best fashion? Revenge & Scandal for me ;)

I don’t watch much TV other than Scandal and now love Empire. So I’ll have to agree with you on Scandal. I just love Liv’s style. Is Revenge still on? I watch the first two seasons and got tired of it lol.

ABY: Your ultimate fashion no-nos are…

I really can’t stand clothes that are too tight. I think it lacks creativity. Just because is tight does not mean it looks good.

ABY: Your top 5 wardrobe must-haves.

A pencil skirt, bad black pumps, skinny jeans, a white button down and a v-neck t-shirt. All these items are classic and versatile.

ABY: Your best fashion buy EVER…

My Jimmy choo anouk pumps. They are the sexiest shoes I own to date, but also the most uncomfortable. I love to fiercely suffer through them.

ABY: Your fashion icons…

Diahann Carroll and Victoria Beckham. Both women are the epitome of class and sophistication.

ABY: Your favourite quote/saying

Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness” by none other than Oprah Winfrey.

Thanks for letting us peek into your closet Prissy. Your style is giving me Olivia Pope sophisticated chic.

ABY readers, what did you think?

Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Viewing Party

It has been such a fashionable weekend. From the 2015 Oscars and now the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Viewing Party, the stars have kept us glued to our screens with their fashion choices. Let’s take a look at who showed up and who who showed out at the party:

Sarah Hyland has been having quite a stylish year hasn’t she? I love her black and white body hugging gown adorned with mini bronze balls and cut outs. Stunning.

These days I’m just happy to see Miley Cyrus covered in any clothing! She looked pretty in a heart print high waisted trousers with fishnet snood and black top. The orange lip added the edge she’s known to serve. I like it.

A black plunging gown with kimono sleeves was Nicole Scherzinger’s choice for the evening.

Rapper Lil Kim loves being a princess. She skewed pretty in a blush beaded gown.

Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Cody Simpson were a fab pair! Love her black one shoulder embellished dress.

Julianne Hough looked beautiful in a floral sheer dress. Love it.

Dita Von Teese gave me the old Hollywood glamour I love to see from her in a beautiful black lace dress with sheer detail.

Jesse Metcalfe and Cara Santana are one good looking couple. I couldn’t comprehend Cara’s dress sleeves though…

Aaron Paul and partner Lauren Parsekian co-ordinated in all black.

Zoey Deutch was pretty in a white dress with a black bandeau.

Camilla Belle opted for  bright and bold checkered pattern dress. Not sure about this one.

Heidi Klum opted for a dazzling sheer number. Hmmm.

Irina Shayk skewed powerful in a white trouser suit.

Vampire diaries actress Nina Dobrev worked a hot red number and faux-hawk updo. The back of that dress is stunning.

Model Lydia Hearst shone in a sequined coral dress as she posed with the yummy Chris Hardwick.

Master of the ball Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish were also in attendance.

I liked Hofit Golan’s printed grey and black dress. Beautiful.

Brittany Snow looked radiant in soft makeup and pretty printed dress.

Who were your top looks?

Love Saray Hyland, Miley Cyrus, Dita Von Teese and Brittany Snow :)

vanity fair oscar party

These awards and their after parties have gotten the best of me. I have been unable to catch up. Damn. So while I was sleeping or catching up on The Walking Dead, this happened. I spied a few outfits from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and they were burning hot! Let’s get into all of them:

Solange Knowles was my absolute fave in a naeem Khan beaded white dress.

Beyonce Knowles looked stunning in a white Stella McCartney dress and fur stole. Shorter hair makes all the difference with her.

Lupita Nyongo’o brought it as always in Calvin Klein strapless champagne gown. Love!

Rita Ora has been serving lately! Her Donna Karan Atelier sheer black dress was quite a risqué choice for the evening. Did you like it?

Irina Shayk gave Rita Ora a run for her sheerness…Who wore it better? Or worse?

Wow. Serena Williams gave the models a run for their modey in a sexy, slinky raspberry gown with thigh high slits.

Jennifer Hudson must have a new stylist…She looked good in that black gown!

I want Poppy Delevingne’s floral print dress now! It has a simple way to it yet it’s glamourous! That lip colour is on point too.

She’s the queen of sheer and shimmer. A Zuhair Murad stunner was on tap for Jennifer Lopez at the Vanity Fair event.

Keke Palmer is feeling herself! I love the white cut out dress.

Selita Ebanks was giving me a bit of geisha princess sexy realness and I loved it! That pink satin mini dress is everything and more.

Chloe Grace Moretz was one of my favourites in Alexander McQueen. For a girl so young, I love how her fashion choices are so unconventional. Beautiful.

Michelle Monaghan in Monique Lhuillier was contender for best dressed of the night.

Selena Gomez kept it simple and mysterious in a black Louis Vuitton gown.

Lisa Bonet and her daughter Zoe Kravitz will ALWAYS give life.

One of my top looks of the event was Diane Kruger in a Donna Karan Atelier draped one shoulder jumpsuit. Sensational.

Margot Robbie wore a simple striped Christian Dior dress. Her face is so stunning that she makes anything look glam. Love the lips.

Supermodel Chanel Iman looked pretty in a sheer flesh tone fishtail dress.

Gigi Hadid is on a roll. That is one daring dress but you can’t fault that body.

Kate Upton’s black peplum gown was beautiful.

Miranda Kerr looked sexy in an Emilio Pucci white cut out dress.

Loving Zoe Saldana’s post baby style! Her Prabal Gurung black and white dress was stunning.

Hailee Steinfield donned a baroque printed Andrew Gn showstopping gown.

Olivia Munn looked beautiful in a Zac Posen dress.

Christina Aguilera looked demure in a white turtleneck dress.

A liitle underwhelmed by Paula Patton’s black dress but her close up is stunning!

Love Karlie Kloss’ romantic black dress. The detailing is divine.

Kylie Minogue looked positively radiant in a Ralph & Russo one shoulder periwinkle dress.

Love Alicia Rountree’s dress!

Sia continues to go faceless. I love her nude cape jacket suit though.

Kiera Knightley looked lovely in a velvet gown.

Natalie Portman is a stunner. Love the emerald green earrings against the white Christian Dior dress.

I’m in love with Jenna Dewan-Tatum in that dress. Stunning!

Ashley Greene styled a camo green see-through dress over a black slip.

Marion Cotillard showed her quirky side in a Giambattista Valli dress.

Amy Adams looked right stunning in Atelier Versace.

Rashia Jones’ floral print dress is so gorgeous!

Regina King went bold in a pinted body hugging dress.

Love Karolina Kurkova’s fun Schiaparelli dress.

Sacha Baron Cohen and wife Isla Fisher looked cute.

Leslie Mann looked pretty in a white suit.

A white suit was also on tap for Naomi watts. Her deep plunge gave her look extra edge and appeal.

Here for Carey Lowell’s statement necklace!

RosieHuntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham. This couple though! The yumminess is real.

Jada Crawley and Chris Paul posed for the paps.

Can someone please identify this guest for me? She looks sexy!

Sofia Vergara posed with finace Joe Manganiello in a strapless beaded Zuhair Murad dress.

Happy new month! Today’s sightings include: Nicki Minaj, Nikki Reed, Keke Palmer, Kylie Jenner, Lady Gaga, Ciara and more!

Kylie Jenner showed off her washboard tummy in hot white separates in Miami. Her white denim is her £45 Kendall & Kylie High Rise lace Skinniest Jeans at Pacsun.

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill haven’t confirmed they’re dating yet but they stay looking fly as a duo. Nicki partied it up with Meek Mill at the CIAA 2015 in a an Alexander McQueen Flower Collage Jacquard Pink Crop Top and skirt set. I love the fuchsia ensemble but the pink open-toed booties were overkill. But she’s Barbie so she nailed it.

She was later spotted in a mini lace lingerie inspired dress and cage gladiator heels. Which Nicki look do you prefer?

Keke Palmer was also at the CIAA and opted for mixed prints and colourblock heels. You digging it?

Nikki Reed uplifted an all black everything outfit at the Noble Awards 2015 with bright red lips and delectable tie up heels. Love it. She and Ian Somerhalder look so good, darn it!

Zoe Kravitz braced the freeze in a stylish fur multicolour coat. No one does effortless like Zoe.

Lydia Bright was spotted in Essex in £48 Sand Crossover D-Ring Peg Leg Trousers by Lavish Alice. and leopard flats. Love the neutral tones.

Chloe Sims worked a pair of distressed jeans paired with bright blue Zara lace up heeled sandals. I have those. They are gorge!

Ciara and her nine month old baby Future took a stroll out and about. CUTE!

Lady Gaga was a high fashion sighting as always as she exited her hotel in a feather fringed dress.

Jasmine Walia shoed off her long pins in an orange romper on the streets of Chelmsford.

Whose looks were worth your time?

PINK DRESS 6

This Outfit Of The Day comes with a question for all fashion bloggers (#Fbloggers) and style bloggers that surf these parts of the interwebs…

Where do you take your pictures?

Sometimes, a blogger will tweet something like “Scouting for outfit locations,” and I’d go, I must be the laziest blogger around. The only time I shoot in a nice location is if I’m on holiday. I have never gone out of my way to seek out locations to experiment with.

I mean I want to.

Many times, I walk past a stunning backdrop, beautiful wall, nice etc and think that would make for fantastic photos! But I am just never able to make it when I need to.

Also my husband Mathew, is having none of that. He takes all of my outfit photos and I have to talk him into it. LOL! It’s outside our flat or nothing at all.  This article on the IFB Are Blogger Photographer Boyfriends Even Happy Taking Our Photos is funny but true! Admittedly, once we get going, he gets right into it and gets all Hollywood Director on me… ;) We live right right in the middle of town so these archaic, tall buildings will forever be my backdrop, until we move that is.

Where do you shoot your photos? Who shoots you? Are they always happy to do it?

A lot of people use tripods so there are endless possibilities. I have never tried one though and I’m thinking of getting one.

**This outfit was taken and scheduled for Valentine’s Day but I did not post the pictures nor go out in it because we didn’t like this dress! Oh well, it doesn’t look half as bad two weeks later.

I was going for a non-traditional red dress in a non-traditional silhouette and got this…

Style Diary: Seyi of In Fashion I Trust

It’s Thursday and time for another steaming Style Diary! If you’d love to be possibly  featured here please email artbecomesyou@yahoo.com and simply indicate interest! Today’s Style Diary is the gorgeous modelesque Seyi of In fashion I Trust. Here’s what she had to say about her style dos and donts:

ABY: A little bio stats.

Hi! My name is Seyi Famuyiwa. I was born in Nigeria but have lived in Los Angeles all my life. I’m 23 years old currently enrolled in a Masters of Business Administration program in Washington, D.C.

ABY: How would you describe your style and what influences your style?

To be honest, I can’t really put a label on the type of style I wear. I enjoy being able to fuse different style pieces together into something that I am completely comfortable rocking in public. I think what influences my style the most is how I’m feeling at the moment. Some days I feel like being SUPER dressy and then some days I’m like eh, some boyfriend jeans and a white tee will suffice.

ABY: Favourite high end & high street brands?

I’m not really into name brands to be honest…mainly because I can’t afford it right now on a grad student budget haha! But I do like some of the Balmain pieces and Giuseppe Zannoti is definitely one of my faves currently.

ABY: If you had the power to, which one fashion store / boutique would you wipe out from the face of this earth and why???

Juicy Couture. Their items are so cheesy to me. Too much bling!

ABY: What do you splurge on?

SHOES!

ABY: Any beauty secrets or tips you’d like to share. Favourite make-up brands. etc.

Highlighter (MAC’s iridescent powder) is my HOLY GRAIL! Plop a little right above your cheek bones with a fan brush and VOILA! Walk out the house looking like a golden goddess. For my WOC (women of color), please please please buy MAC’s Taupe matte lipstick…one of the best nudes for WOC hands down!

ABY: What fragrance are you loving at the moment?

Victoria Secret’s “Breathless”…it smells so girly and delicious

ABY: Your favourite trends currently?

Midi skirts! And the oversized coat…yes yes yes!

ABY: The trends I just don’t get are…

I never understood why people said to not wear white after Labor Day…like I honestly want to know where that came from because, it doesn’t make sense Lol

ABY: This question is just for fun lol! Which profession has the coolest/ most fashionable uniform?

Hmmm, the profession where I can wear what I want :-P

ABY: Which TV show has/had the best fashion?

I’m not a big tv watcher but I have to agree, Scandal’s wardrobe is on point. Ooo…and House of Cards!

ABY: Your ultimate fashion no-nos are…

White heels…I have yet to see a pair that I really like…so until then…NOPE!

ABY: Your top 5 wardrobe must-haves.

Black Jeans

Dark Wash Blue Jeans

Plain Tee (White or Gray)

Black Booties

A nice coat

(That’s an outfit right there lol)

ABY: Your best fashion buy EVER…

This pair of black booties I bought during a Cyber Monday sale from Shoe Dazzle a few years back…probably one of my favorite go to shoes because it can be dressed up or dressed down.

ABY: Your fashion icons…

Solange and Rihanna…SLAY!

ABY: Your favourite quote/saying

“Everything happens for a reason” so cliché but honestly, it’s amazing/crazy how things work out the way they do, even if it’s not in the way we expected it.

ABY: Stay in touch! your contact info and where we can find you online:

Wow, Seyi. You wardrobe has so many enviable staples, I need to pay your closet a visit ;) Love how clean and very polished your go to colours are. You better werk!

Another Friday, another outfit! Lately I’ve been stacking a lot of clothing items in this gorgeous camel colour. From jumpers, to coats, to turtlenecks. They are just perfect for when you’re running out of time and you just need to throw something on that will blend with anything else. This colour will be the theme of many outfits to come, lol.

Still feeling sequins from my last Sequins & Sneakers post, I dug up these Topshop sequin leggings from two years ago and paired them with this camel knit top I got (from Primark!) and this mohair coat which is so far my best vintage finds of 2015.

Also I do not like how petty WordPress is being. I am currently using a Free Trial Space Upgrade because I have run out of upload space. Damn all these celebrity sightings! LOL. The trial runs out after 14 days and then I’ll have to pay £42 for 25GB. 42 freaking quid! That is one Zara coat on the sale. Or that lovely faux fur coat I spotted at Warehouse. Or a meal for two at Turtle Bay… :(

I know this is a pointless moaning session because I need my SPACE and I WILL BUY IT. Because I can’t live without my uploads. Until then. See you next week and have a blastworthy weekend!

OUTFIT:

Camel knit top – Primark

Sequin leggings – Topshop

Mohair coat – Vintage

Black leather strappy heel sandal – Zara

Sorry for the late post of the hot looks that graced the carpet at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards – AMVCA. I really wanted to post about the event but I couldn’t find a single picture that wasn’t covered in watermarks! I generally avoid posting marked pictures so I’ll make do here with what I could find! Let’s go:

Toke Makinwa gave me a lot of pictures to select from on her Instagram! I loved her white dramatic slit gown by Pastiche couture. Slay!

Genevieve Nnaji stunned in an off-shoulder mustard dress by Elvira Jude.

Kate Henshaw is a total stylista and couldn’t be missed in her African print yellow gown. Gorgeous.

Andrea Giaccagalia in that sheer burgundy dress by Wana Sambo was sensational.

Temi Dollface stood out as always in a black fringed dress. Love her.

Eku Edewor gave face in a CLAN turquoise dress.

Her cocktail party outfit was also the bomb.

Dakore Akande in House of Dabira was simply gorgeous.

Iheoma Nnadi was absolutely stunning in a blue fringed gown.

Tonto Dikeh looked elegant in a red and gold lace fishtail gown.

I loved Stephanie Coker’s red carpet white cut out dress as well as her pre-party white cape jumpsuit. Stunner.

Susan Peters went a little bit cuckoo and opted for a dramatic white tulle sleeves dress. Ya love it?

Ini Edo was inspired by Lupita Nyongo’s Ralph Lauren red cape dress at the Golden Globes 2014. Major side eye 0_0 I also can’t get past the hair.

Rita Dominic looked smashing both on the red carpet and at the pre-carpet event.

This is the best Annie Idibia has ever looked! Love the green beaded dress.

Kendra Etufunwa went for a tulle white halter neck dress.

Toni Tones was stylish in a cream sheer dress.

Linda Ejiofor opted for a flowy green embellished off-shoulder dress.

Lola Rae was spotted in two different looks. Which did you love?

Makida Moka looked beautiful in a plum Marvee dress.

Yvonne Vixen Ekwere’s pink cape and floral appliqué dress was a miss for me.

Zainab Balogun is just so effortless. Love the blue jumpsuit dress.

Yolanda Okereke brought it in a yellow trouser suit.

Adunni Ade flaunted her body in a red sheer dress.

Denrele Edun showed everyone out as usual in a fishnet gold lace dress.

Which looks are you feeling?

Did everyone enjoy their Women’s Day weekend? Hope you did! Let’s kick off this week with today’s sizzling hot sightings. They include: Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Lorde, Kylie Jenner, Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian, Jada Pinkett and more!! Get in here:

New mum, Kelly Rowland was spotted on the streets of Paris. She just can’t help but glow! Love her coat and that hair is fab.
