Beyonce’s 7/11 Music Video Style Breakdown

$

Queen Bey knows how to get our attention! Last night she dropped a brand new music video 7/11 shot in viral style in her hotel room with cell phone quality footage. Original! The video pictured she and her mates having one helluva night being all goofy as they danced off in colourful undies and jumpers.

Beyonce rocked A LOT of pieces. I could barely keep track but this is what I’ve found so far.

She looked flawlessly dazed in this £280 Visor Crown With Leather by WXYZ. The baseball cap is available for pre-order.

She also sported a grey £41 Cake By The Pound jumper from Shop Beyonce.

Loved this £33 Kale Jumper from Revolve Clothing.

These knickers are cute! Need to find them.

Stay tuned to this post for more:)

Have a lovely weekend.

Christina Milian in Nasty Gal Collection Hold Tight Embroidered Dress – Nasty Gal Melrose Store Launch in LA

Christina Milian looked flirty and young at the Nasty Gal store opening in Melrose. For the event, she wore a £82 Nasty Gal Collection Hold Tight Embroidered Dress. She paired the sexy little black dress with black ankle strap heels with enormous gold studs by Giuseppe Zanotti.

A black and white bomber jacket was thrown over her shoulder for warmth. Her makeup was muted with blush pink lip gloss but she kept things funky with braids. Christina’s face looks super cute here but I am not loving the clunky shoes nor braids. I would have much preferred a sexy strappy heel as worn by the model.

The satin black dress features embroidered detailing, a cutaway neckline, sheer panels at front and sides, and crossed straps at back.

#GIRLBOSS and owner of Nasty Gal Sophia Amoruso and ‘The Real’ co-host Jeannie Mai also attended the event.

Do you love Christina’s pairing here?

the 2014 american music awards jennifer lopez, selena gomez, nicki minaj, taylor swift, zendaya coleman, kylie jenner

The American Music Awards 2014 went down in grand style with a slew of notable faces on the red carpet. Let’s check out the epic gowns to grace the red carpet:

Jennifer Lopez was a strong favourite in a Reem Acra cut out wrap nude dress. This is hot! Her body in that dress is a killah. #SlayLo

Nicki Minaj gave face in a black cutout Alexander Wang dress with leather insets. But her black court shoes fell flat and lacked edge.

Zendaya Coleman always ofeers edge. Her metallic pyjamas paired with a pale blue halter bralet and full bouncy curls were a win for me! This is looking all kinds of fab <3

Christina Milian is forever young! She looked gorgeous in a Cheyenne Kimora dress and Louboutin pumps. Simple but stunning.

Kylie Jenner loves this silhouette! She wore something similar to the MTV VMAs 2014. A wine red silky satin dress with a thigh high slit and matching lips earned her sultry points.

Kendall Jenner ina laser cut gown

Taylor Swift in a turquoise sheer neck Michael Kors gown with a cutout waist. Beautiful.

Rocsi Diaz glowed in a cut out blue print dress. Love the face!

Selena Gomez in a black Armani open back gown. She’s been getting it lately. I live for those earrings ;)

Khloe Kardashian was so under-dressed in this little black dress. Still looked good though. She’s been hitting the gym and that Versus Versace looked bangin’ on her.

Those posing classes didn’t go to waste. Check out that mani display.

Rita Ora sizzled in a yellow strapless gown by Zac Posen. Thank heavens her signature red lip was a no show. Her makeup was flawless!

Self-proclaimed queen of jumpsuits Dencia sported a sparkly sequin number and buckle platform booties.

Jordin Sparks sparkled in a Halston metallic dress and strappy sandals. Love the ombre curls. She’s fit!

Garcelle Beauvais slayed in a Michael Costello red gown. Didn’t care for her shoes though.

Jhene Aiko was fierce in wine gown

Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie served leg in a Halston black belted gown. Werk.

Metallics are in. Olivia Munn sported a metallic dress for the win.

Kate Beckinsale glowed in all white.

Loved Lauren Cohan’s black dress.

Jessie J kept it muted in a white tailored to perfection suit by Prada . Her boyfriend Luke James was also on hand.

Charli XCX looked beautiful in a black dress. Love her hair.

Tracee Ellis Ross looked hot in head to toe black. Slay!

Leave it to Diana Ross to make a red carpet splash.

Elizabeth Banks is usually haute couture but she opted for a playful and colourful Peter Pilotto skater dress and sandals here. Still love it but I wanted more pow!

Lucy Hale opted for a sexy dark lip in a black cami fur-trimmed dress by Vera Wang. Lovely.

Giuliana Rancic colourblocked in a blue, black and white Alex Perry dress and impera pumps.

Julianna Hough in an orange Zuhair Murad dress looked stunning.

Uzo Aduba looked pretty in a black dress and red lips to go.

Danai Gurira let a Naeem Khan green printed dress do all the talking on her luscious skin tone.

I feel like Mary J Blige can do so much better than this blonde weave. Her body looked snatched in that fringed embellished black gown though!

Orange Is The New Black actress Taylor Schilling scrubbed up nicely in a black and white one shoulder dress.

Who topped your best-dressed list?

Jennifer Lopez & Zendaya.

OOTD – Mohair Coat

art becomes you mohair coat c done

I’ve been hunting down gorgeous long camel coats for a while now. The best ones I’ve found are either out of stock or have their price mark set up way too high above my means.

Then the Vintage Fair at the Custard Factory Birmingham happened…

It was raining like crazy but me and Mathew are such vintage enthusiasts that we went anyway. The atmposhphere of the fair was so cool. They had set the room so that you felt like you were proper shopping from a venue in the 20s. All the vintage tea cups, crockery, plates etc. But I skipped breakfast and dove straight into grabbing some thrifted goodies. After lusting after a few pre-owned Chanel bags and pearls, I stumbled upon this baby here. The perfect Mohair coat. In camel for that matter. I had to have it.  We haggled a bit and I got the coat for £40. I was elated! I know how much mohair and wool-blend coats go for so I was dancing my way home. It feels and looks amazing. Plus it’s so warm. This is definitely my best find of the year. Do you love thrift shopping? What was your best find?

Kim Kardashian had some down time in Dubai this week. While hosting stars at Toko Dinner in Dubai, she sizzled in a £1,655 Cropped Leather Top by Balmain with black tailored trousers.

The long-sleeved top has a gathered, knotted front and a sharp-shouldered silhouette.

Sometimes less is more. This is one of the best Kim has looked.

Red Carpet Review: British Fashion Awards at London Coliseum

$

0

The British Fashion Awards opened the month of December for fashion lovers this year. Over at the London Coliseum, some of our favourite stylistas and celebs walked the red carpet. Let’s review the highs and the lows of what they wore:

Rihanna looked unapologetically sexy in a black velvet Tuxedo by Stella McCartney. She kept her makeup minimal and braced the London weather in black tights. Pretty!

Who said black was boring?? Joan Smalls KILLT it in a black midi dress with daring cutout details. Supermodel status. Yasss!

Kendall Jenner partied with her supermodel friends at the event in a strapless white jumpsuit with black panels. Louboutin Follies Resille pumps sealed her look. Stunner.

A heavily embellished Burberry dress was on hand for Cara Delevingne who won best supermodel of the year.

Queen mother Naomi Campbell came to show the young ones how it’s done. Loving that eggplant and black gown.

My style crush Naomie Harris showed off her stems in a mini printed dress. Flawless.

Alexa Chung looked stylish as always in a grey dress and a cool lunchbox clutch. I want!

Rita Ora was styled in a Tom Ford couture. She did not pull this look of for me. Something looks amiss. Her mesh top and slit skirt were complemented by Tom Ford mirrored platforms.

Sexy brunette Daisy Lowe shares my love for a monochromatic blush pink / nude ensemble. She looked hot!

Ellie Goulding stayed away from any drama in this pale blue strapless dress.

Olivia Palermo did not disappoint in a green maxi skirt and black top. Hot.

Nicole Scherzinger and her man Lewis Hamilton looked great in shades of grey. Loved Nicole’s Julien McDonald one shoulder embroidered dress.

Karolina Kurkova gave me life in this peachy orange dress and matching lips. Yes!

Suki Waterhouse dared to bare in blue layered tulle dress and metallic sandals.

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham were the couple to beat as they looked smoking in black. Victoria wore a £1,580 Victoria Bechkam Crepe-Satin Pleat Chain Maxi Skirt.

Liya Kebede looked stunning as ever.

Ashley Madekwe looked beautiful in a white crepe-satin tuxedo.

Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing and his cheek bones of life were not to be missed.

I loved Michelle Dockery’s interesting leaf print dress.

Harry Styles’ pinstripe ensemble was not your average suit.

Emma Watson was in the mood for oversized. Her blazer jacket was paired with white flared trousers. Pretty girl.

Lily Allen followed the cape dress trend in a periwinkle dress and colourful courts. I love that she’s kooky but the horns were a bit overkill for me.

Fashion royalty Anna Wintour and her daughter Bee Shaffer worked their striking features.

Poppy Delevingne looked pretty in a Topshop tulle dress.

Tamsin Egerton worked a red fishtail skirt.

Hot blogger Chiarra Ferragni looked cool in a mini print dress.

Male model David Gandy looked yum in a black tailored suit. My oh my.

Loved Bianca Brandolini d’Adda’s skirt and strappy sandals.

Who was your best dressed of the night?

I love Joan Smalls, Liya Kebede, Karolina Kurkova and Daisy Lowe :)

Who’s your pick?

Who Styled It Better: Kim Kardasian or Millen Magase in Atsuko Kudo Nude Latex Dress

WHO STYLED IT BETTER KIM KARDASIAN OR MILLEN MAGASE IN ATSUKO KUDO NUDE LATEX DRESS

Millen Magase gave Kim Kardashian run for her money when she took to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in the same £260 Plain Paris Cup NUde Latex Pencil Dress by  Atsuko Kudo that Kim wore a couple weeks back to her Fleur Fatale perfume launch in Melbourne. Both ladies pretty much styled it similarly. With Millen opting for patent Pigalle pumps by Christian Louboutin. A blck voat and black Chenel bag completed her look.

Kim Kardashian opted for grey suede pumps. I do not love her shoe choice here but her face is killing it.

Millen Magase aka Ladivamillen gave this dress a classy edge in her slender model frame while Mrs West filled this dress and had it bursting at the seams with her curvaceous bod. I also prefer Millen’s shoe choice. Who did this dress justice?

Gabrielle Union shone at the ‘Top Five’ New York Première in a black maxi Solace London weaver dress paired with £790 Casadei cage sandals.

The dress features several cutouts on the sides and back. The best accessory any black dress needs is a red lip and Mrs Wade is werking this. She may not take fashion risks but boy is she gorgeous! She couldn’t have looked better.

Solace London design occasion pieces and can be found on Asos. I think they are quite affordable. Peruse their collection here.

Angela Simmons looked hella fly at the 5th Annual Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Finale. She posed for snaps in a fringed co-ord set by independent Nigerian designer based in London Mimi Lee.

The Mimilee Resort 2014 combo consists of a fringe top and pencil skirt both in red animal print. Angela rocked the blouse unbuttoned and let us have a peek at her toned abs in a black cutout bralet. Makeup was rendered flawless by @Donovanlamar.

Fringe seems to be Mimileelondon’s signature. Spy this orange hot designs she posted on her Instagram.

The black Michael Costello gown features a deep plunging neckline and a gold bar belt. Ashanti paired the killer dress with LARUICCI jewels. Shanti loves to work her curves any chance she gets. She looks fab!

Beyonce threw on an African designed coat to view the premiere of the braodway musical Annie with husband Jay Z and doting daughter Blue Ivy. The £128 Daria Coat by Kisua features a futuristic optic print

inspired by architectural installations of contemporary Burundian artist Serge Alain Nitegeka.

Her strappy heels were the perfect match to this optical treat. I love the illusion of lines this look is giving.

Jennifer Lopez In Cédric Charlier Crepe Lamé Tee & Sophia Webster Clementine Strappy Gladiator Sandal Boots – ‘American Idol XIV’ Red Carpet Event

Jennifer Lopez attended Fox’s ‘American Idol XIV’ Red Carpet event held at CBS Television City.

For the event, the ‘Booty’ singer opted for shimmering grey separates wearing a £335 silver silk lamé Cédric Charlier  top paired with a grey leather Thomas Wylde skirt. The skirt features an oversized silver zip that highlights a thigh-high slit. £405 Sophia Webster ‘Clementine’ gladiator knee-high boots in gunmetal sealed her frost-tone look.

At 45 Jennifer Lopez is clearly still a bombshell. However something about this look isn’t working for me. The hair and eye makeup break it unfortunately. I would however love that skirt and killer pair of sandal boots in my closet!

What is your take?

Azagury is a London-based couturier and his designs are one made to enhace the female form. The Azagury flagship store can be found in Knightsbridge, London. This is everything. Kelly’s body even has that golden hue. She looks stunning. That honey-dyed hair is laid. Now I want to get mine done.

Michael Costello is killing it this year I swear! I knew I wasn’t #TeamCostello on Project Runway for nothing. He’s good. Christina Milian repped the designer at the 2014 Runway Wonderland Children’s Benefit in Los Angeles in a sexy red lace gown with a plunging neckline. I’m going to ignore Christina’s choice of nail polish here because her face is beat for the gods and she looks hella good in red!

Her friends Lilly Ghalichi and Shiva Safai also puckered up and posed in red Michael Costello gowns. This guy gets a woman’s body. Werk, all three of ya!

Shiva’s hair and makeup team DID THAT!

Lilly Ghalichi’s red gown features delicate lace detail with nude sheer insets and a beautiful fishtail.

Which of these ladies is rocking MTCostello the best?

Shiva loooks  H to T stunning. Christina looks beautiful but that carnival themed manicure ruins it a little for me :(
